Fox in a Box - Chicago reopened for in person escape room adventures on January 19, 2021. Here are some of the things that we are doing to keep you safer (and these are still valid on May 9, 2022):
- Private Rooms - all our rooms are private, like they have been since we opened in 2015
- Honor Chicago laws - Unvaccinated, untested, unquarantined people from counties where Covid is spiking are refused
- Those who have not been outside of Illinois exempted from Vaccine card check
- Vaccine card checks for those who have been or are coming from high risk counties
- Extra time for disinfection - We disinfect the entire room between every game
- Large Open Air Atrium for those who arrive early - beat the heat! (and not be crammed in)
- Required temperature checks - guests and staff all have temperature checks
- Required masks for staff and guests in all public shared spaces
- If you have proof of vaccination or a negative covid test within last 3 days, the mask requirement for guests is relaxed in public space
- Hands free checkin - check in early or when you arrive, with your own phone!
- Cancelation policy changes - if you’re sick, tell us ASAP -- we will work with you!
- Closed restrooms, hand sanitizer, hands free hints and more...
