CHRISTMAS IN AUGUST?

Summer heat is here, but that's no reason not to think ahead to different holidays.  And more importantly, holiday parties!

The sweltering heat of the Chicago summer is upon us. As I write this, it’s hitting 98 degrees (the miserable temperature, not the 90s boy band). It’s times like these where I long for the winter to return, polar vortex and all. Winter in Chicago is not nearly as bad as they say. Okay yes, you may get frostbite if you go outside, but surely that is better than walking around in this heat. Besides, the holiday spirit that sweeps over Chitown in December is unbelievable. Lincoln Park Zoo hosts ZooLights, a dazzling spectacle well-suited for the young and old alike. The Loop turns into a magical German village when the Christkindl market comes to town. Millennium Park is decked out with the annual Christmas tree and there is a general sense of good cheer between all. And of course, one of the best parts of the holiday season is the parties.

I see no reason to postpone planning your own holiday party until winter. Christmas in August, anyone? At Fox in a Box, we have hosted a plethora of holiday parties. Since we partner with Bar Louie, we can create the perfect holiday party experience. There’s nothing quite like combining holiday cheer with an excellent team building time! Be sure to inquire about setting up a great holiday party experience for up to 35 (at the same time - we've also done great events for over 100) and give your employees a time they’ll never forget.

Don’t believe me? Check out some of our reviews from TripAdvisor! One happy customer wrote, “First time doing an escape room and I really enjoyed it! Friendly staff and great puzzles. This was a work team building event and I thought it couldn't have gone better. Highly recommend Fox in a Box to anyone thinking of trying to do an escape room.” Another said, “We had so much fun during our team building experience! I plan on returning soon to try other rooms.” We are taking bookings now for our holiday season; contact us soon to set up a party for your group.
